J. ANDREW DEMAN is a Continuing Lecturer at St. Jerome’s University and the Project Lead for “The Claremont Run” and Co-Project lead for “Sequential Scholars.” Andrew’s work is published in a variety of scholarly and public-facing places and in his books The Margins of Comics and The Claremont Run: Subverting Gender in the X-Men, which won the 2024 Eisner Award for best scholarly publication.
