Origin stories are not just for superheroes and villains! They are foundational to our understanding of ourselves and others and give context on motivations, goals, desires, fears and personal stakes.
In this workshop, led by award-winning fiction writer and associate professor at the University of Guelph, Carianne Leung, writers will have a chance to use writing prompts and craft discussions in order to create pivotal moments in a character’s development and discover how these narratives make up the genesis of our protagonists.
Fiction and non-fiction writers alike are welcome to take part in this!
