SARAH TOLMIE is a poet, speculative fiction writer and professor of English at the University of Waterloo. She is the author of three poetry collections with McGill-Queen’s, Trio (2015, shortlisted for the Pat Lowther award), The Art of Dying (2018, shortlisted for the Griffin Prize) and Check (2020). Her 2019 novel The Little Animals earned a Special Citation at the Philip K Dick awards, and her 2022 novella All the Horses of Iceland was listed among the top ten fantasy books of that year by The New York Times. Her most recent book is the weird short fiction collection Sacraments for the Unfit, written during the COVID lockdowns.
