“Limitation is what differentiates a flood from a lake. In the making of things, limitations allow you to choose from something rather than everything.”
– Sister Corita Kent, Learning by Heart
In this participatory workshop, participants will explore how a through-line or central defining theme can provide emotional momentum and a narrative edge. Through prompts and discussion, participants will uncover the inherent theme that motors their story and, ideally, leave with a loose map for their project.
This event is hosted at the Balsillie School of International Affairs.
